La banda irlandesa que todos amamos y adoramos, al menos casi todos, U2 dará su primer concierto en vivo en 16 países via YouTube. El concierto que ocurrirá el próximo domingo 25 de octubre a las 8:30 pm PT (es decir, como 9:30pm tiempo de la capital mexicana) será retransmitido en tiempo actual por el portal de videos.

“The band has wanted to do something like this for a long time,” said U2’s manager, Paul McGuinness, in a statement on the band’s Web site. “As we’re (already) filming the LA show, it’s the perfect opportunity to extend the party beyond the stadium. Fans often travel long distances to come to see U2–this time U2 can go to them, globally.”

Además de disfrutar de tan peculiar evento, se invita a todos a participar en un live tweet desde la página oficial de la banda, el cual será en pro de la asociación contra el SIDA (RED).

This Sunday, October 25th @ 8:30 p.m. (PT) tune into the world’s biggest band performing on the world’s largest stage. YouTube and U2 have joined forces to live stream U2’s performance this Sunday at The Rose Bowl Stadium. Available internationally in the following countries: US, UK, France, Canada, Italy, Spain, Japan, Brazil, Australia, NZ, Ireland, Mexico, India, Israel, South Korea, and Netherlands.
